bars, restaurants and shops that it has, but, particularly, for the great quantity of
bookshops that concentrate in it, where editions and publications of all kinds can
be acquired and that remain opened until high hours of the night.
• At only seven blocks from the intersection of Corrientes Av. and 9 de Julio Av.,
where the Obelisk (Obelisco), the irrefutable symbol of the city, is rised. The 9 de
julio Av. which is the widest in the world, is one-of-a-kind avenue for its sizes
