The local area is a travelers delight, with hiking trails along ancient paths,
icebergs, whale watching, sea kayaking and the Trinity Theater Festival.
CBC television's mini-series 'Random Passage' (a story of Newfoundland settlers in
the early 1800s)was filmed at nearby New Bonaventure in the summer of 2000.
